I love this! Crazy awesome music. Classic 8-bit music! What was that song when charmander was screaming? And was that a Jackson Pollock painting during that?

I love this man, my new favorite of NG!

vlaktemaat responds:

cool nice review!

Yep it was a jackson pollock painting warped in a few different colours!
I thought the expressionism would be nice in the action and pain packed scene :)

The song was "Angel of Death - Slayer"

Awesome!

I like the concept. Brain vs. Brawn, except for having a touch of reality, because although the brain wins in the end, a couple of good lives were lost in the battle.
I really do like the art style, with rudimentary shapes put together to form the fishes, and jagged edges to make up everything else (besides the circles, of course...). It's the low detail, but high quality sort of thing. Because the lines and shapes are crisp and clean, giving it that nice feel while watching it.
The BGM was really nice, complimenting this flash very nicely. It's very simple, not too many instruments, the drum and "other" was all you needed to give it the atmosphere you needed without much of a distraction. And the sound effects were very good quality! (You mind if I ask where you got them, or how you made them?)

Lastly, the only thing I didn't like.... The play again screen was.... very bland. If you put at least a background similar to "The End" screen, it would look nicer. Also... Perhaps work on a menu/preloader? Just a thought, that's all I can dislike about this.

Also I agree with detniaTreveroF about the possibility of this being a kids book... Minus the bleeding fish head. ;)

billyblob responds:

Hello jake2034, I really appreciate your thoughtful comments.
I think I got most of the sound effects from SoundDogs. The burp and chewing I think I remember making myself. As for the bland 'play again' you are right. I made that very quickly after forgetting to add it once i posted to NewGrounds. When I get a chance I will try and fix it. Thanks again.

Very Good

I liked it. It's got a touching story, great drawing, and a very nice audio choice. Daily 5th and Review Pick are some nice awards. You are definitely gifted in Adobe.... I sure wish I was. ;)

manuelberja responds:

thanks man.

Wow! That's Freaky!

Luckily, I like these kinds of videos. Dark, eerie, and thought provoking. And, also, I'm lucky I'm not afraid of clowns. But my girl friend will HATE this movie. If I want her to hate me for an hour... I'll keep this in the back of my mind! ;)

Good work, I love it!

JohnDavidHeptinstall responds:

Thanks! - and yeah I did the same thing once with my girlfriend and a David Firth flash - she was annoyed lol

This is a collab idea from beyond!

It's amazing how people can interpret sounds differently, but also how similarly. Each flash was unique, but some sounds had the same idea, but ocasionally it was very different!

All in all, an amazing idea! So unique for a collab! But now the question, will/is there another coming?

Graeme responds:

Glad you enjoyed it so much!
And I can gladly say YES!
I have a set of entirely new animators, all handing in completely new sounds.
I don't have a due date, but you should definately expect a Did You Hear That? volume 2!

I love these things!

I wish the screen savers would do more screen saving, because a white background would burn the screen white, whereas black doesn't.
Also, the buttons don't work for me, I can still watch using tab + return. But I don't know if it's a Firefox, or Mac thing.

But enough bitching. Awesome work guys! I love these morphing things, I'm always going to be impressed by them so long as there's morphing and good art work!

M-Shack responds:

hmmm that's weird, I don't know why it didn't workout for you. I'll tyr it in more browsers next time before uploading. And yeah the white kinda sucks, but at least the images happen randomly and should manage to get to most of your pixles. I'll keep this in mind if Moarphs 2 gets a screensaver.

AWESOME! I LOVE THE SAVER!

To SUPERMAN103's responder, Sepukitties is a game on Kongregate (not sure if it's on NG as well (It's either spelled with 2 or 1 p's and 2 or 1 s's)). It's a game about animals, and stuff (if I try to explain it myself it'll sound REALLY horrible. Just google it ;])

And is this all hand drawn in flash? Or is there some form of a shape tween involved?

(And also, you should proboably invert the saver, cause white will actually burn the screen if it's left on too long. (So it's quite the opposite of a screen saver.) So possibly make the option of an inverted screen saver, so it'll save my screen instead of burn the white into it?

TheBoogley responds:

screen burner! 8O

Her Vag? No Badge!

Too bad it's over. Oh well! How old are you anyway? Cause in the 3rd episode, you said you were too young to animate the happy ending. Anyways,it was good while it lasted. Keep on animating stuff! It makes the world go round!

Dusty-Gorilla responds:

Now I'm 18. I think I was 16 when I did that one.

This flash is lucky! 777 Reviews when I watched!

I love this! It touched on all the things i thought should be in the game! And (unofficially) explained what's really goin on in pkmn (pikmin or pokemon?). And i loved the oh damn song/video. Absolutely superb! In this flash I loved giving your rivals name, and "Allright let's shrink you down to the size of a cheerio so you'll be the same size as everyone else! (something like that) *SQUISH!*" Like I said, amazing!

OrangePylon responds:

Well now you ruined its luckiness!

THANKS FOR THE SEIZURE ASSHOLE!!!!

Other than that, it was funny.

SirPuppumHat responds:

I take pride in my flashing seizuremakers
